Description

Maxfield Sparrow moderates a panel discussion among a diverse group of adult siblings of autistics.  Panelists will respond to a series of questions, discuss, and answer questions from attendees, as time permits.  Panelists:  Susmita Kurup, Sean Burke, Debra Karhson, Alan Kurtz, Shehime Arshad, Shergul Arshad

Questions for Panelists:

  1. What communication and/or interaction challenges did you experience with your autistic sibling?
  2. What did you enjoy doing with your sibling; what do you enjoy doing together now?
  3. What did you struggle with?
  4. What did help or would have helped your relationship with your autistic sibling?
  5. How has your perspective on autism changed over time as the relationship has developed?
